Zendesk will perform critical maintenance which will impact performance for Custom Objects customers between February 24 and 25, 2023, during the times listed below.
Affected products: Custom Objects, Sell, App Market
Important: Customers who will be impacted by this maintenance window will receive a banner in the Support interface.
Customers Affected: Zendesk Sunshine customers will experience a maximum service disruption of 60 minutes at some time within the 2 hour maintenance window.

Expected behavior:
- Create/Update/Delete of data would be blocked. Reads would still go through.
- During the maintenance window, the service will be returning a HTTP 423 Locked response.
Why we're doing this: The Zendesk team is upgrading AWS instances for better performance.

This article has been updated to more accurately reflect the groups of customers who will be impacted by this maintenance.
Each group of customers will receive a new service notification banner in the Support product indicating which maintenance time will apply to their account.
Due to technical issues, the maintenance for Group 3 customers had to be rolled back and postponed. As a result we will be re-scheduling another maintenance window for this. A new date and time will be posted here once this has been firmed up. Many thanks for your patience and understanding.
