We are happy to announce that you can now search and filter on images in the account level gallery.
What's changing and why?
The account level image gallery used in content blocks contains images for the content block you are working in and all images you've uploaded to any content block in your account.
Customers with large help centers are working with hundreds of images and need to find them quickly. To address this need, we are introducing the ability to search for and filter images in the account level image gallery.
With this release, you can now:
- Search for images by file title
- Filter images by the date they were added to the gallery or updated within the gallery
How will this affect me?
If you are an Enterprise customer you’ll see this functionality in your content blocks on the day of launch.
What do I need to do?
You don’t need to take any action. However, if you’re interested in learning more about creating content blocks see Working with the image gallery for content blocks.

This is only for content blocks, correct? When will this be fully account-wide (i.e. in regular articles that do not use content blocks)?
Morgan King,
We are working on it right now and expect the release later this quarter.
Katarzyna Karpinska is there a plan to allow for the updated image gallery to be used for help center assets as it expands from content blocks? For example, if we have custom images for categories/sections will there be an option to reference a gallery image in our help center themes?
EDIT: I'm thinking about this as an option for users to have some control of images without needing to update the theme code/asset files directly. I'm not sure if it's a good idea, but it could be nice to have the option in a theme to reference a file from the image gallery.
Dan Cooper we don't have plans for it currently but it's an interesting idea. Would you mind adding it as a separate piece of feedback to our community?
