We have released a closed beta of the brand-new Explore report builder. This new builder makes it easier than ever to create reports in Zendesk.

What’s changing and why?
The newly redesigned reporting experience makes data exploration and report creation more efficient and intuitive for beginners and advanced report builders alike.
As part of the new experience, the new report builder includes the following improvements:
- Intuitive drag-and-drop interface
- Metrics and attributes sorted by popularity
- Table as the default visualization for new reports
- Suggested visualizations (coming soon)
- Improved preset chart configurations (coming soon)

Is the beta available on my account?
The beta is available on a number of preselected accounts and is being gradually rolled out across all accounts over the next few months. If your account is eligible, the beta banner will appear in the reports library.
We intend to enable the beta report builder on all Explore Professional and Enterprise accounts by the end of the year.
Which features are available in the beta?
Currently, the beta report builder includes the features most commonly used for report creation. More advanced features like chart configurations, calculations, and result manipulations are not yet available. We’re working on redesigning and releasing these features. When you leave your feedback, please share which features you’re missing the most to help us set the right priorities.
What do I need to do?
When the beta report builder becomes available for your account, try the new reporting experience and share your impressions with us. Click Share feedback in the top-right corner of the report builder to send us your thoughts.

Will the "Try Beta" button be visible to Admins only, or to any Explore editor? If someone clicks "Try Beta" does it enable it for the instance, or just the current user?
I applied for EAP and saw the "Try me" button displayed a few days ago. But today, when I go in, I don't see the "Try me" button anymore. Is the beta period over? Or can you give me another chance?

The "Try Beta" will be available to Explore Editors and Admins. Every user will be able to choose to use the Beta or Classic builder but their choice will not impact other users.

The new reporting experience is available as a closed beta. So, there is no need to apply it will be enabled on eligible accounts automatically once we are ready. Where is the export to excel in report builder (Beta)? This is a basic functionality that cannot be missing.
