Announcing new testing capability for conversation bots

We're excited to announce that we have released a new bot testing capability for conversation bots.

This announcement includes the following topics:

What is changing?

We have introduced a new bot testing capability in the bot builder tool where admins can test their draft answer flow configurations without needing to publish the changes prior.

With test bot, admins will be able to

• Test any unpublished changes prior to publishing the changes to the bot live.
• Admins can test the answer flow including all step types such as collecting information, making API calls and agent transfer experience.
• Admins can test the question-answer match performance based on training phrases or pre-trained intents configuration.
• Note: The answer preview will still be available for a quick preview of the answer.

What do I need to do?

If you would like to start testing changes made to the bot, the Test bot function will be available on the answer listing page. Clicking on Test bot will open up a test panel on the right.
