We are releasing the drill in functionality for the beta dashboard builder. This feature provides a flexible yet consistent tool for digging into your data, enabling you to easily discover trends, investigate spikes, and more.
This announcement contains the following topics:
- What’s changing?
- When will I be able to export data with drill in?
- How do I turn on drill in on a dashboard?
What’s changing?
The drill in feature, which behaves the same as in the classic dashboard builder, is being made available in the beta dashboard builder. For more information on how the feature works, see Using drill in to refine your reports.
When will I be able to export data with drill in?
At this stage, it isn’t possible to export data from the drill in window. We plan to introduce the ability to export data before the end of the year.
How do I turn on drill in on a dashboard?
By default, drill in is turned on in all dashboards built with the beta builder.
You can turn this option off in the dashboard settings. See Working with the dashboard builder (Beta).
