We are excited to announce new tools are available to help you migrate your Zendesk Support for Jira integration to a new Jira instance. You can now self-manage your integration migration when moving between Jira instances, such as from Jira Server to Jira Cloud.

What is changing?
Previously, if you moved Jira instances, you had to contact the Zendesk Customer Support team to migrate existing links between Zendesk tickets and Jira issues. Now, you can migrate links using a Migrate Links button in Jira administration.
This new tool migrates existing links between Zendesk tickets and Jira issues to your new Jira instance. Assistance from the Zendesk Customer Support team is not required.
Why is Zendesk making this change?
Previously, moving Jira instances required you to create a support request to migrate links from your old instance to a new one.
In order to make this migration process as easy as possible and to provide more control to customers, our team has created a self-service mechanism to migrate links.
