With your Tymeshift subscription you have an option to choose add-ons we offer below (subject to additional fees).:
With the Dedicated Instance add-on, we offer an up-time SLA (please feel free to reach out to our team for more details). This feature also provides visibility of upcoming updates of the instance and gives you the ability to choose Tymeshift update frequency.
Once you've purchased this add-on, we will initiate the below process:
- Account Owner/Project manager will coordinate with the Tymeshift team to choose a date and time for the migration from shared to the dedicated instance.
- Once a date and time are set, we will send out a notification on the day of the migration 1 hour before the migration takes place to remind you of the event and to monitor the progress and ensure successful completion.
- At the agreed time, some downtime will be expected (specified during coordination in step 1 depending on account size) and you will be notified once more when the migration has officially started.
- Once the migration is complete, Tymeshift will be back up and running and you will be notified of the successful migration.
Important: if you have IP restrictions enabled in your Zendesk instance you will need to add a new Tymeshift IP that will be provided at the time.
This add-on will give you an option to choose an in-country data center so your data is not stored outside of your preferred country in accordance with GDPR (note, we do default to USA datacenter). If we do not have a data center in your preferred location, here is a list of Google data centers that you can choose from.
Data Center locations we currently have:
- Iowa, United States
- Oregon, United States
- Frankfurt, Germany
Important: Data storage location refers to the location of the your data. Some application components may be hosted in a different location as necessary to maintain performance and scalability.
Once you've purchased this add-on, we will initiate the below process:
- Account Owner/Project manager will coordinate with our team to choose a date and time for the data transfer to happen.
- Once a date and time are set, we will send out a notification on the day itself and 1 hour before the data transfer takes place to remind you of the event.
- At the agreed time, there will be some downtime (specified during coordination in step 1 depending on account size) and you will be notified once more when the transfer is started.
- Once the data transfer is complete, Tymeshift will be back up and running and you will be notified of the successful transfer.
