Tymeshift connects to your Zendesk account via oAuth. There may be times when you need to re-authorize or revoke Tymeshift's access to your Zendesk account.

Re-authorizing Tymeshift with Zendesk
Attention: Make sure to re-authorize Tymeshift with Zendesk as soon as possible. Otherwise, the authorization will be deactivated and Tymeshift won't work until the re-authorization steps are completed.
You may need to re-authorize Tymeshift with Zendesk if you're performing one of the following actions:
- Deactivating the original user that authorized Tymeshift with Zendesk.
- Demoting the original user that authorized Tymeshift with Zendesk.
- Changing the user that provides the oAuth permissions.
To re-authorize Tymeshift with Zendesk
Attention: You must be an admin in both Tymeshift and Zendesk.
- Hover over the admin icon, then click Settings.
- Click Show advanced options.
- Click Revoke Tymeshift > Zendesk Token.
- Click Re-Authorize Tymeshift > Zendesk.
A window appears and prompts you to create and set up your account again. This is expected and doesn't create a new account. Enter your details to complete the re-authorization process.
Revoking Tymeshift's oAuth access to your Zendesk account
To revoke Tymeshift's access to your Zendesk account via oAuth
- Hover over the admin icon, then click Settings.
- Click Show advanced options.
- Click Revoke Tymeshift > Zendesk Token.
