Issue symptoms
- The user is not able to log into their account through the Zendesk app.
- Error: Oops, Tymeshift can't connect to your instance. Please check your internet connection and refresh Zendesk page.
- Error: Sorry, Timeshift is having trouble connecting. Please check your internet connection and refresh Zendesk page.
- An infinite load screen displays.
- Tymeshift isn't tracking any time.
Resolution steps
Check your Zendesk permissions
You must be a Zendesk admin to install Tymeshift.
- Access your profile information in the upper-right corner of the page header in Zendesk.
- In the upper-left corner, check that your role is assigned as Administrator.
Check IP restrictions
If your Zendesk account has IP restrictions enabled, you'll need to permit access to our IP addresses to allow it to connect to Zendesk.
Check if you already had a Tymeshift trial
If you or someone from your company started a Tymeshift trial previously, contact Zendesk Customer Support.
