We are excited to announce the new Simplify tone in the Generative AI in Knowledge EAP. This feature will help you create clear and concise content for your articles and content blocks.

What’s changing, and why?
Tone shift in Knowledge harnesses generative AI powered by OpenAI’s Enterprise GPT to automatically improve your content by paraphrasing it according to your needs.
You can simplify the content that you’re writing to make it more clear, concise, and easy to read. Simplified content is helpful when you are creating instructional, troubleshooting, or other technical content, as it removes excessive wordiness, buzz words, and unnecessary adjectives that can get in the way of user comprehension.
How will this affect me?
Once you register for the EAP, you can use Admin center to enable the Generative AI feature. Once the feature is enabled, content creators creating or editing help center articles or content blocks can select text in the editor, then click the enhanced writing icon () and select Simplify to launch the feature. The Simplify text window opens, displaying the original text and simplified suggestion.
For example, you can type the content shown in the following example, then click Simplify to transform the text so that it is shorter and much more direct.
What do I need to do?
The EAP is available for all customers on Professional and Enterprise Plans.
You can sign up for the EAP by completing this sign-up form. Once you’re registered for the EAP, you can enable Generative AI features in Admin Center and begin using the features. See Using generative AI to expand help center content (EAP).
If you are already in the EAP, you don’t have to do anything. The feature is available to you on the launch day.
