We are excited to share an update about the latest enhancement to our article editor. In our efforts to improve your writing workspace, we moved the article editing toolbar from its original position within the editor to the top of the page.
This announcement includes the following topics:
What’s changing, and why?
In response to user input requesting a more spacious and less cluttered writing environment, we moved the article editing toolbar from its original position within the editor to the header of the page. This change results in the following benefits:
- Increased editing space - The editor now offers more scrollable space, as the entire article now scrolls seamlessly behind the toolbar. You can now review more of your writing at once without scrolling frequently.
- Simplified interface - Your workspace is now less cluttered, which makes it easier for you to focus on your writing without distractions.
- Preparation for new features - This move prepares us for future expansions that will integrate more capabilities without compromising workspace.
How will this affect me?
The update to the article editor improves your workspace by offering a cleaner layout and increased screen space for your articles. Since the toolbar is now static at the top, the article content flows smoothly behind it, allowing for better visibility no matter the size of your screen. This results in a more focused and spacious environment that adapts to a variety of writing styles and device preferences.
What do I need to do?
You don’t need to take any action. This change will be available for all customers on all plans. For more information about the article toolbar, see Help center editor toolbar reference.
