Zendesk is excited to announce that you can now change the Support mobile app’s theme in both iOS and Android. This update includes the option to use a dark theme, also known as “dark mode”.

What is changing?
Previously, the Support mobile app could only be used in the standard, light theme. Now, after activating the new agent experience, you can change the app’s theme from light to dark or your device’s default theme.

Why is Zendesk making this change?
We heard your feedback and are making this change to make it easier for your agents to manage and respond to tickets. "Dark mode" is an important feature that we’ve received a lot of requests for and we’re delighted to be adding this to the mobile app for our users to have a better mobile app experience.
We’re always open to more feedback and would love to hear more from you about the things you’d like to see in the app. You can submit your feedback directly in the app.
What do I need to do?
Make sure that you have the latest version of the Zendesk Support mobile app installed. See Installing and configuring the Zendesk Support mobile app.
