Zendesk is excited to announce an enhancement to Views that allows you to use CC’s and followers as conditions. You'll now be able to create and edit views with conditions that check whether or not specific users have been CC'd or are following a ticket. This gives you more flexibility in how you manage tickets that are most relevant to you.
This announcement includes the following topics:
What is changing?
There are two new conditions available for views: CC’d and Followers. Each of these conditions allows you to select one or more users that have or haven't been been CC’d or are following a ticket.
You can add these conditions to any new or existing views; however, they aren't available to add into your column selection, grouping, or sorting in a View's edit page.
Why is Zendesk making this change?
Since CC's and Followers were introduced, adding the ability to use them as conditions in views has been highly requested. Zendesk is happy to deliver this enhancement in response to your feedback.
What do I need to do?
If you're happy with your views today, you don't need to do anything and nothing changes.
If you want to use these new conditions, create a new view or edit an existing view, then define its conditions.
Each of these conditions has two operators: Contains at least one of the following or Contains none of the following:
After choosing an operator, select one or more users to include or not include:
