When adding carousels to your dialogues, there are a few things to keep in mind since Zendesk Chat has its limitations in terms of supporting rich format messaging.

  • Every field is mandatory and must contain a character (a space does not count as a character)
  • Max. 10 cards
  • Image URL
    • Max. 2000 characters
    • Must be a valid http/https URL
  • Image Size
    • Must be no more than 20MB
    • The image will render rectangularly with the longest side being the horizontal side. 
      Image cropping will happen to bring the image to a 2*1 ratio (width*height), from the center. 
  • Image Format
    • Must be a PNG, JPEG or GIF file
  • Card Title
    • Max. 100 characters
    • The character " can not not be used 
  • Description
    • Max. 150 characters
    • No line break
    • The character " can not not be used
