We’re excited to announce the launch of the AI translations for articles Early Access Program (EAP). This new feature uses AI to help you quickly create article translations within your knowledge base, making it easier to provide support in multiple languages.

What’s changing?
AI translation for articles lets you generate translations for articles directly within the article editor. If your help center supports multiple languages, you can create an article in your default language, then use the AI translation feature to automatically translate the article into any language supported by your help center.
AI translation for articles provides support for all languages supported by Zendesk Guide.
Why is Zendesk making this change?
AI translation for articles empowers users to generate quick, easy, and cost-effective translations directly within the article editor. This enhancement allows users to instantly translate content into supported languages. Users can create, review, edit, and publish translations seamlessly within their workflow.
What do I need to do?
To participate in the AI translation for articles EAP, you ‘ll need the following:
- Advanced AI add-on
- Access to the New Editor (sign up here)
- Help center configured to support multiple languages
Sign up for the EAP and we'll activate it on your account as soon as we start the rollout. Once you receive confirmation of your enrollment, follow the steps outlined in our documentation to set up and start using the AI translation for articles feature. See Translating articles in your help center using AI.
Limitations
As this is an EAP, there are some limitations to be aware of:
- The AI translation for articles feature does not currently support content blocks.
- Certain languages may have limited availability, depending on your help center's configuration.
