Font color in WYSIWYG editor
It would be really nice to be able to use different font colors in Zendesk updates. This way we'd be able to mark important words or phrases even more clearly than what you'd get by only underlining them or putting them in bold (or even both)

This would be very cool!

My agents have been begging for this since we started using Zendesk,
-
Agreed! We would love this feature as well.

Often I copy/paste text from an email or elsewhere, that has different color text etc, but pasting it in removes all the formatting and renders it useless.
Very big YES PLEASE from us.

Can someone from Zendesk team please provide an update on this topic?
This is a very useful and somewhat standard feature which we would expect to see in a WYSIWYG editor by now, but no feedback has been given so far. Can this be achieved and if yes, when can we expect it?
Looking forward to your reply.

Having color options would help my team a lot with macros. We have quite a few instances where an agent must modify the macro with ticket specific information that isn't covered by a placeholder, and right now we have no way of highlighting that text as something that should be changed. The best option I've found is to put this specific text in a code span, and then have the agent replace that with the correct information. This is less than optimal though.

Bumping this thread up. I really hope Zendesk can build this. I do not understand why we are not getting basic functions like this. Did anyone manage to find an App with this functionality? Thank you.

Hi Markus -
It's all about prioritization, and sometimes things that seem like basic functions also don't have a high business impact. While a very nice-to-have, this kind of thing isn't business critical, and therefore tends to fall lower on the development priority list than things that are.
That being said, I know a lot of work is planned for the Support platform in 2019, and will make sure product managers are aware of this request.

No updates? can't we even customise the palette?
