I'm pretty sure you can't do that on ZD.

You can create list of most popular articles, manually.

I don't believe it's possible either. There is no native functionality of getting Help Center page visit statistics from the Help Center, and no API endpoints for it.

You would likely need developer resources and develop a custom script/job to pull this data from Google Analytics or similar web service and then have that script update your Help Center articles (e.g. promote-depromote) based on the results.

I haven't attempted this myself, though.

Hi Jaqueline -- Joel's on the right track. If you want to track page view activity for later use, enabling Google Analytics (GA) is the starting point. This article goes into details on enabling it:

There's also a good series of articles in general on GA:

I imagine its a pretty common desire. There is already a report, it should be able to be surfaced as a list for users. How likely is this to be added to the roadmap? It sounds like it should be table stakes for a suite like zendesk.

You can technically see the most viewed articles in your knowledge base in the Reporting pane of Zendesk.  Click on the Knowledge Base tab and select views to see what articles are the most commonly viewed over the last 30 days (or a custom period of up to 90 days).  The most commonly viewed articles are shown below, however, its paginated every 10 articles.  It’s not the ideal solution, but you can see this out of the box if you don’t want to go the Google Analytics path for finding this information out.

However, I’d love to see expanded view metrics for articles that could be more broadly reported upon.
