Getting user fields into views

    It is true, you can only add ticket-fields to your views.

    However, you may be able to populate custom ticket-fields with data from your user-fields.

    You could create a custom Zendesk app to take care of this.

    If your user fields have tags, you could build a view that looks for the tags to shows those tickets.  You just wouldn't be able to show the data as a column. 

    However, if you use placeholders in a macro, you could bulk update tickets and have the macro only update matching ticket fields with what is in your user fields (or update them one at a time while working tickets).
