App submission - too long time waiting for approval

    App approval takes 3-4 weeks.

    Hi Anastacia.

    I know zendesk is experiencing a big inflow of apps at the moment, so it will take 3-4 weeks to get approval.

    Today is 1 month since we have submitted the App. The App is in Engineering Review status for about 2 weeks already! Is there a way to get any update? Is there any person from Zendesk apps approval team we can talk to?

    I can definitely see how that would be frustrating! I don't have much insight into the app approval process or the engineering team's workload off the top of my head, but I'll do some poking around on my end to see if I can get some more information for you. Sit tight!

    Hi Anastacia!

    Sorry for the delay in getting back to you! I touched base with some colleagues about this and was able to find out that  we've been working through a pretty large backlog of applications, so it's taken longer than our target 3-4 weeks to get things approved. 

    By this time you should have received a response in the ticket that was created when we submitted your app; if you haven't received anything, let me know and I'll follow-up internally!

    I recently submitted a preview app for approval along with the github link. How long does this process take? I really hope not 3 to 4 weeks!

    Hi Developers - 

    I reached out to the apps team and they confirmed that due to the number of apps we receive, it does take 3-4 weeks for approval.
