We have a relatively high number of custom fields available to an agent as well as a handful of forms to choose from based on customer inquiry/problem type. Having all of those available fields condensed into the left hand sidebar / ticket properties area makes it difficult to use and requires agents to scroll up and down to fill in info as a customer provides relevant details during a phone call. If there was a feature to slide that panel wider to display the ticket fields (maybe up to 3 or 4 columns wide) that would be hugely beneficial.
To go a step further, if there were a way to manage the general layout of fields in this type of view that would be a huge improvement (i.e. form builder tool similar to Formstack or Jotform). Admins could then layout a call logging / intake form to assist better with data collection and call flow.
I think that at a minimum, just allowing the sidebar to be expanded with some dynamic ticket field alignment into columns would be a significant UI benefit.
