What's this all about?
Ability to block incoming calls is the newest addition to our Talk Professional and Enterprise feature set, hitting beta for selected customers only. We have added functionality that allows you to block specific numbers or patterns of numbers that have been flagged by you as being unwanted or fraudulent.
This is available to Talk Professional and Enterprise customers.
What are some of the limitations?
- This feature is functional, but there are some limitations to the experience in using it. For example, you can block incoming calls from an entire country (for example entering +1 will block all calls from the US) and the product will not give a notification about the impact.
- No reporting - there is no audit trail or log available in product of what numbers were caught in the block. We do however have a technical log of which calls were blocked.
- No formatting or validation on configuration of a blocked number.
