    Hi Dom!

    I checked with our Developer Relations team and was able to find out that this is actually a PHP issue, not a Zendesk issue. They also said that we highly recommend using the official client, as we don't troubleshoot custom code.

    This problem came back - I found a situation where using "echo" didn't work either.  Solution turned out to be this:

    $zendatastring = json_encode($zendata, JSON_HEX_TAG | JSON_HEX_AMP | JSON_HEX_APOS );

    Although only the "JSON_HEX_APOS" seems to be really necessary.
