    Hey Joshua - 

    I'd suggest you do this via tags, and then use the Tag Locker app to make it such that only admins can change the tag. 

    Let me know if that gets you headed in the right direction, or if you have further questions.

    The Tag Locker app doesn't seem to exist anymore. Is there a solution to this now?  To prevent editing of specific fields on tickets?

    Hi Dean, 

    It looks like Tag Locker is planned for migration to the v2 App Framework but hasn't made the jump yet.  You can check on the migration strategies for many apps here: v1 app removals, alternatives, and future plans

    Tag Locker didn't specifically lock down certain fields, you might check out Hide Ticket Fields or Required Fields in the Zendesk Marketplace. They don't necessarily prevent editing of fields, but they might have their own related use cases to help you out.
