    Tools for spam control and additional functionality to have certain users as moderators with the ability to delete posts and comments is crucial for a healthy community! Pls add it!

    Almost 2 years after and still no bulk deletion of spam articles in the forum?  Are there still plans to continue this?

    We have content moderation and spam filters available in Help Center, if you haven't seen those features yet: 

    These will help to keep the spam posts from hitting your Help Center to begin with.

    If you have a problem with large numbers of posts somehow getting through these features and need help getting rid of them, as Emily mentioned above, you can contact support@zendesk.com for assistance.

    It would be great to be able to delete multiple articles (or toggle multiple articles between draft and publish mode). 

    For us, it's not about spam, just content management.

    We know that our content management tools could be a bit more robust, and we are working on some solutions for that. I don't have any details or timelines to share right now, since things are still in the early stages, but it's definitely on our radar. Stay tuned!

    We'd like this as well.  After moving to Help Center we now want to clean out old forum posts more than 12 months old.  It's going to take alot of man hours to go in and delete them all manually.

    I find it extremely odd that you haven't set this up. I'm starting to setup my help desk and I have to manually delete the demo content one article at a time?! That's so time consuming and annoying. *pulling out my hair*

    Agreed on this. I'm currently redoing our help center, and have to manually go in and delete 60 different articles manually, one by one.

    Agreed, this seems like a no brainer feature.  I'm in the same boat as Antonio where we're just trying to do bulk adjustments but can't.  I have 153 articles to delete, doing them 1 by 1 just isn't feasible.

    With the new "article manager" it would be awesome to be able to bulk delete articles from a list with the "outdated" filter on

    I agree and a bit frustrated that somehow being able to delete multiple articles is currently not possible. I have several that need to be removed and I don't have the time to have to do this. 

    Has there been any update as to when this will be available? What is the latest on getting this feature implemented?

    We need this as well. This is basic content management. When support ends for a particular release and we want to remove the relevant articles, it's ridiculous to have to manually delete each of 20 or more items.

    We have quite a lot of articles to clean up - and would love to be able to bulk delete - or better yet — 'bulk move' articles into a private - archived category so that users don't have to search through a lot of old content that's no longer relevant.

    Hi, this is a real need for me too. I have inherited an old knowledge base that needs to be largely deleted and started again.

    I am relatively new to Zendesk.  Is four years a usual time for simple feature requests to be ignored?

    Hey Paul - 

    There have been some communication and management issues in the Product Feedback forum for several years. But, we're actively trying to change that, and there will no longer be a several year delay on responses. There are many threads that simply need archiving - a functionality was rolled out, but no one ever updated or closed the thread. Then people come across it and think it hasn't been built when, in fact, it has. 

    I joined the company in February and took over management of the Community. This initially just encompassed answering Support questions, but in August I stepped into managing Product Feedback as well. So I do apologize for the lack of response here and in other places, but know that we are striving for improvement in these areas. 

    To answer this particular question, no, delete all functionality has not been built. I do know that the Guide team is working on content management functionality for the Knowledge Base. I'm meeting with the Product Managers next week and will ask whether any kind of bulk delete or bulk archive is on the list and will report back.

    Is there any updates on this simple functionality request?

    I have 234 articles to set to draft mode and doing one by one is very tedious.

    I would love to have this available as well. We have old articles with tutorials on our old platform and to go through one by one would be so time consuming.  We do  not want the customers finding the old tutorials but do when they use the search.

    Hey David,

    I just want to clarify the scope here as there are 2 things in the original post. We're expecting bulk actions for articles (not community posts/topics) to be in beta starting this week. I will post back with a link to the beta when it is open.

    Hi Ryan,

    Would your work on the bulk article actions also cover API calls? The Help Desk API allows for archiving of articles, so that's easily automated. However there doesn't appear to be an API call to permanently delete articles. Can you kindly advise if this is an imminent addition as part of your updates, or shall I raise another query for this?

    Hey @Michael,

    We're planning to shortly add a delete bulk action via the UI, but we don't have plans right now to add a delete API to the Help Center API at this time.

    Are you just looking to clear out a large number of archived articles now that delete is available? Or do you have some type of automation/integration built around this use case?
