    Hi Marty,

    Actually not even an agent can close a ticket, but an end user can solve their own ticket.

    When an end-user visits their ticket on the web-portal they can consider their request solved - then it will fall into the normal workflow of closing out solved tickets.

    Stephanie, the ability for end users to solve their own tickets, is described here:

    The solved ticket would then be closed by an automation.
