I have a use-case I am trying to work through. At my company we provision servers for our customers, while these servers are being installed the tickets are assigned to a member of the Installations team. The sales team member who sold the server wishes to be notified of status changes within the ticket. Originally they would add themselves as a CC on the individual install ticket, but they found that to be VERY noisy as they would get every update both public and private.
It seems the best way to address this is with a trigger, but I cannot anticipate who the Sales agent will be, so it must be set manually, by Install, for each ticket. I can create a ticket field for this, but I do not see a way to send a notification by way of Trigger to a ticket field (or that ticket field's placeholder).
