I couldn't find any way of doing this, nor could I find anyone else posting this as a feature request (which kind of amazed me). Either I am missing something big time, or it is currently impossible to get macros to insert HTML successfully.
Currently I have created a macro that has words that are hyper-linked to key FAQ's on our Zendesk knowledge base. However, each time that macro is used (with a comment mode of "Public") and is sent to the ticket requester, the HTML is all a mess and doesn't translate in the email notification trigger for some reason, whereas in normal email triggers HTML seems to work just fine. Please see my attached PDF as to what happens to HTML when used in macros. I'm surprised it behaved this way as I assumed it would work the same as email triggers do.
Can we please have macros that successfully embed HTML as can currently be done with Triggers and Notifications? If I am doing something stupidly obvious that is resulting in this issue, please can you point it out to me as I am keen in using HTML in macros.
