[COMPLETED] Disabling Voicemail Outside of Business Hours

Please implement something like this. Most support teams just tell you to check the self help or call back during the business hours.
Much needed functionality!

Spoke with a customer who would like to automatically have callers routed to a Voicemail message based on business hours so that instead of disabling the VM outside of business hours, there would be a separate message that plays from the VM message during business hours. Currently, they must manually change the VM message at the end of the day and then again in the morning.

Thanks Jiliana! It would be useful - although changing the voicemail greeting at EOD and setting up trigger works, it requires manual work. Since you offer localization options already, why not make this part of that overall feature?

This is a huge problem for us. We absolutely should have a way to disable voicemail outside of business hours. Really disappointing that this is not an option!

Having the ability to turn Voicemails off is definitely needed! It would also be great to have separate voicemails for after hours as well.

I agree the ability to have a different voicemail message active, based on business hours, would be very beneficial.
Because it doesn't exist, I'm trying to see if I can use the REST API to automatically update the voicemail messages at the beginning of the day, then at the end. But the documentation on the greetings and phone_number end points is very spotty.
Has anybody done anything like this that can answer a few questions?

In case you missed our announcement, I have some good news for you. Zendesk Talk now has the ability to configure voicemail on or off/ inside or outside your business hours. For more details here is the link to the documentation.
