    Using the afdvanced search already and works in some form but as it says:

    Note: currently only supports search of Tickets (does not include Users, Organizations, Topics, etc)

    The app is an improvement on what we currently have available but would still like something that is created and supported by Zendesk. Id hate to roll this feature out to our company and find out a update to ZD breaks it.

    Also, as Fredrik mentioned above, it only works for tickets.  

    Ideally we would like for light agents to have the ability to search and export results for users and organizations

    We really need this feature!

    We want to be able to download the information from tickets submitted via our Mobile app and there's no way we can do this in Zendesk. If I can search for the tickets, it would make sense to be able to download this info as a spreadsheet.

    The advanced search app is great, but it's really too bad that nobody is working on updating it or improving it.  One thing that seems broken is that subject and description fields get truncated.  If that could be fixed, we would be so thankful.

    We're on a Enterprise account and despite access to Insights/GoodData, the reporting tool there is really not intuitive to use. The results from the search query tell me more at a glance, but there's not a convenient way to show what I'm seeing to other folks. Being able to export the query results would be business-health-changing.

    We're on an Enterprise account and we could also use this feature.  Insights / GoodData doesn't let us search or filter ticket comments at all, whereas the Advanced Search does.

    The Advanced Search thus becomes a substitute for a reporting tool.  For our purposes it would sometimes be adequate, but we need to be able to export the results so we can aggregate them or work with them in other ways.  As another poster mentioned, the tickets may already be closed, so we can't stick tags on them and then create a view.

    We have requests for this type of data probably at least once a month, and I think those are going to increase in frequency.

    We're on an enterprise account and support a logistics process via email.  Our volume fluctuates from a handful of open tickets to a couple hundred.

     

    Exporting from advanced search would be helpful if we're hunting down a specific shipment, or all tickets from a specific user / company.

     

    While this can be accomplished with Goodata/Views, enabling the front-line team management team to export a list of tickets to assign out, would make their life easier.

    @Nicole - I don't see any comments mentioning this yet, but it's extremely important:

    If you are working on a search export feature, PLEASE make sure we can disable/enable by role permissions. We want admins and managers to be able to do this, but cannot allow agents to export data containing PII.

    How comes that after 5 years still is not possible to do an export to csv in the search??? Search and Outputs is a very important part of reporting and Zendesk is doing apparently nothing about it. How difficult can it be to just add the feature to all pages. It is not like you have to invent the wheel again. This is a customer service tool, and we are your customers, who since 2013 are waiting for something basic, I really hope you are not waiting for us to start looking for alternatives, to me it seems like Zendesk does not take seriously the request of many people, an already five years old request. 

    With regards to the Advanced search, I do not see how I can select certain users in order to search in their queues, it seems I can only select one user at a time. 

    I will wait a week for an answer. If there still are no solutions I will go to trustpilot.com or other site and start providing my views about Zendesk. This is just too much.

    +1 on this request. A very critical feature missing from the standard product. Not having the ability to search and export on ticket comments is extremely disappointing.
