We provide business to business support, and would like to use the custom organization fields to maintain historical and searchable information. A great start would be having the ability to create Customer Lists based upon Organization fields. Currently as I understand it, Customer Lists can only be created based on user fields.
A case: In our Organization custom fields we might have a region designated, or even just the state. We want to be able to review a list of all our client organizations in this region, or state, for any number of reasons. This can't be done without a long process of creating a tag view, exporting the list and deleting all the duplications until you get the list down to one organization per line.
This would be hugely beneficial to us. We would use these Customer Lists (derived from custom Org fileds) extensively. As a B2B, the org relationship is more important to us than the individual user relationship, in terms of tracking and analysis.
