    Hey Jeff, that's not currently possible - but I do like the suggestions, so I'm sure we'll be able to make this a possibility in the future.

    I need this functionality as well, especially for checkboxes. Hope to see this available soon!

    Please see the documentation for default values here: https://developer.zendesk.com/apps/docs/agent/settings#default - Jake's comment that the feature is unavailable was made several years ago.

    Feel free to comment in a thread or submit a ticket to us if you have any problems with your development workflow.

    Is it possible to change the default value in the Knowledge Base "Search" field?
