Obtaining the twitter ID from a twitter ticket

    Are you looking for the Twitter message ID or the Twitter handle of the user?

    This used to contain the information -- but it now seems empty all the time.

    For this particular case, I'm looking for their twitter handle -- but I can't find either that or the tweet  message ID in the ticket's JSON. If I get the user from the API it also does not appear to contain their twitter handle or ID as well. Just a profile picture and full name.

    Hey Aaron,

    Let me create a ticket for you to see if that is indeed a bug.  I do know that right now, the information you're looking for is stored in the metadata under the ticket audits (https://developer.zendesk.com/rest_api/docs/core/ticket_audits).  The twitter handle is under the "author" object and the twitter message ID is stored in the external_id.

    I may have a few more questions for you, but I'll include those in the ticket.
