    Hi Seth,

No, forum moderation isn't turned on.  It's the only comment I've run across that has had this happen.  Wasn't sure if something possibly gets flagged on the user that causes posts to be at a Pending Approval status?

    Hi Maggie!

This happens when Zendesk detects that comment could possibly be spam. It get put into a spam queue which can be viewed from your Help Center by clicking Manage content in the black editing toolbox in the lower right corner and clicking the Spam tab at the top of the page.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

I know this topic's now a couple of years old, but we run across this regularly. We don't have the moderation enabled, yet we get 3-4 topics / comments a week that seem to get caught by the spam filter and put into the pending pile.

My question is, why can't we approve the post RIGHT THERE? Why do I need to dive into the Guide Admin and make 4 more clicks than are necessary?

    Hey Pulse -

We run across this frequently ourselves. I can't explain the logic behind it functioning this way, but it's a great piece of feedback. I encourage you to share this feedback in the Product Feedback topic, where our Product Managers will see it.

Thanks Nicole, already did back in early December, but no action or response. :(

ah. Thanks for posting it there.

It usually takes awhile for a new post to get enough votes and comments that it gets attention from product. But hopefully some other folks will weigh in and it will reach a critical mass of requests.

I do moderate and read everything over there, and flag things for Product when they start getting traction. But with 100's of requests coming in every week, they can't respond directly to each one.
