    Hi Dave,

      Interesting question.  Quick one though for you, in French it should read "voir pièce jointe" instead of "voir attachment" :-)

      Still, looking forward to hear back from ZD support on this.

    This functionality is hard-coded into Zendesk, which means that there isn't currently a way to change the criteria or disable it. If you feel like having some control over the feature would be helpful, though, I'd definitely recommend hopping over to our [Product Feedback Forum](https://support.zendesk.com/hc/communities/public/topics/200132066-Community-Zendesk-product-feedback) and posting there with your use case. This is the best way to ensure that our Product Managers see how you're using Zendesk, and they use that feedback to help inform their decision as we plan our roadmap.

    Has the stance changed at all in the last 6 years?  Is there an ability to disable it now?

    Hi Jen,

    I'm afraid that there is still no option to disable this. This is hard-coded into the Zendesk, and there's no way to disable or configure the behavior.

    You may post in our Feedback forums to engage with other users with the same use case/needs, and hopefully be noticed by the team reviewing these threads for roadmap planning. Thanks Jen!
