Is this possible to ad a acknowledgement of receipt to the ticket?

    Hi Joséphine - at this time the answer is no. We don't have any way to notify you of receipt for email notifications sent from our Zendesk servers.

    There is a new feature that allows notifications to be sent from Google's servers using a linked Google Apps account. Google does have read receipt capability so you may want to look into that option:

    We saw a lot of requests for this functionality and built an app that will update a private ticket comment when a ticket requestor and are presently beta testing it. We have 7 beta testers who love it and are looking for 2 or 3 more if you are interested. You will receive free service for some period of time after launch. It takes 2 minutes to implement & have added a screenshot below. It is also 80% cheaper than Google Accounts.
