Create post from ticket

    Perhaps I can create a ticket from a post then merge it with the existing ticket for the same effect...I'll give that a shot.



    Yep, that worked!  The ticket created from the post becomes the merge target for the existing ticket.

    Not too sure if this will help, but there is a 'Ticket to Help Centre' free Zendesk Labs app that allows you to push comments from tickets into new articles. 

    The process for you could be:

    Community post comment is added > create ticket from the comment > use the new ticket to create a new article for your help centre via Ticket to Help Centre app?
