Hello again, second non-technical newbie questions? Apologies....not sure of the right way to ask this question......
I'd like to have a "User Guide" button in the header of my web based application, so that when my users click on this button, a new tab opens in their browser that automatically logs them into Zendesk Knowledge Base and opens the User Guide section. The User Guide would not be accessible by Anonymous users.
Q1: Is this possible?
Q2: If yes, please could someone point me to the relevant article?
Q3: in an non technical terms as possible, what do I need to ask my developer to do, namely what is the right way of asking for this .....is this API stuff?
Apologies if this is really basic stuff for you guys, I've been looking for the answer but I'm not certain if I'm putting the right search string.
I'm developing a web based B2B app and want to add a User Guide for my users. Looks like the Knowledge Base would be great for this because I can "assign viewing permissions to Sections. For example, section can be viewable by everyone, only signed- in users with tags, or only agents"
So I need my users to become my Zendesk End-users. I need to make it seamless for them. I don't want them to have to create a username and password, just to access the UserGuide. So I'd like it to look seamless for them, just click on the UserGuide button and you will be taken to the UserGuide sitting on Zendesk.
Apologies for the dumb question.
