    Hey Jessica! It might be possible to do this with custom code, but that's outside my purview here. :) I'll ping our Community Moderators to see if they have any ideas!

    @Jessica - Looks like this could only be achieved using the Help Center API.  Take a look at the developer documentation here.  It appears you could pull the user id but you would have to pull from several different API points to make everything connect which could become very complicated.  If you have a developer on staff I'm sure they could figure everything out but it would take some time to do.

    Hey Constantino -

    It would be great if you could create a new post in our Guide Themes & Customizations topic. This thread is pretty old and much of the information is out of date, so it's one we should close and archive. Your question will also get better visibility as a new post. :)

    I agree with this.  The new up down buttons are too subtle and therefore are just not being used at all by our clients.  A bigger clearer button to vote on an item would be ideal.

    And frankly for us, we'd prefer just one button to vote on an item.  We don't need the down button. So I'll look forward to any tips on how to change the default.

    @Helen - yes it is possible to change the vote arrows, I'll see if I can find the code where I did this.  @Spike you can easily have one button by hidding the other one via JQuery

    @Helen - This is actually pretty easy to do with the new theming.  Find the code below on your "Community Post Page" via the theme editor.  Add "article-vote-up" and "article-vote down" like I have below and you will now have the thumbs up and thumbs down.

    <div class="post-vote vote">
    {{#with post}}
    {{vote 'up' class='article-vote-up' selected_class='vote-voted'}}
    {{vote 'sum' class="vote-sum"}}
    {{vote 'down' class='article-vote-down' selected_class='vote-voted'}}
    {{/with}}
    </div>

    @Spike - If you only want to show one just remove the below line.

    {{vote 'down' class='vote-down' selected_class='vote-voted'}}

    This will remove the down vote icon.

    Thanks very much Wes!  I've forwarded these notes onto my designer of our help center.

    Super helpful!  In a similar vein - is it possible to add voter names to the {{vote 'sum' class='vote-sum'}} - perhaps when you hover over the vote.  Or add another section on yes votes to then be able to see who specifically voted for a given topic?

    Thank you, really appreciate it!  Seeing the individuals that voted in the frontend would be super awesome vs. just extracting via API.  Thx again!

    Just checked and it seems that voter names are visible to admins/agents only
    (that API endpoint is not accessible to end-users).

    Following up on this old post (let me know if I should create a new one!): since we changed the arrows in thumbs-up, we'd like to change the text in the Topics overview from 'Vote' to 'Likes'. How can I do this?
