    Hi Josh,

    Thanks for your answer. I think you're right - I also had a talk with Support and got the answer that this is global ID shared between several accounts, so no way to predict.

    There still might be some hack to see the latest global ID, but I don't think anyone but Zendesk own devs can answer this.

    I could not answer your questions but I wanted to know that why do you want to predict the next Article Id?

    Hello Anil,

    Well, it's not really a production scenario. I just wanted to get better understanding of the system mechanics - it might (or might not) help me with some future scenarios. 

    It seems the ID is some global system-wise unique identifier, that is not only used for articles, but for many other artifacts.

    I still feel there is some logic behind, so will keep the question open.

    Hey Artur,

    While I can't provide a ton of detail on this, it's my understanding that due to the way Guide is built this would be nearly impossible to predict for a single account. 

    Apologies that there's not a neat answer for this!
