How to hide groups based on the Role Assigned

    I would say it really depends on how you have your agents and users structured and what roles you have assigned to them. If they can't manage the help center then you could use tagging strategy. Which you could have a user tag set based on the user's department. Then use user segments to lock down the sections. Or if its a little more complicated structure you can add some javascript to check the user's role and hide the section. You may need to do a little more than hiding as well just in case they know the direct url.

    My requirement is on the agent portal where an agent from department A with role Department A should not be able to see the groups of Department B with role Department B . 

    We will have about 5 Departments using this tool . I would want the agents to have access only to their department groups .

    Ah I see. Sorry for some reason I was thinking you were talking about the Help Center. Wouldn't you just only assign the agents to the particular groups? Then depending on their role it would look something like this
