Difference between Zendesk Support Chat and Standalone Chat

    To answer your question more generally though there are two types of chat accounts. There is a fully integrated chat account which you can purchase as an add-on to your support account. This allows for ticket creation from chats and some additional chat reporting. 

    A stand-alone chat account is just chat though. It allows customers who are only interested in the chat product to purchase that on its own. It is possible to later integrate it with a support account if you chose to though.
