Zendesk Chat API transfer to agent

We would like to request the possibility to transfer an ongoing chat to a specific agent using your Chat API.
We see quite a lot of visitors leaving the chat by mistake, or who come back later, and they want to talk to the same agent as before. Here it would be useful if we could transfer them directly without involving another agent.

Thanks for sharing your feedback. Currently, there are no plans to add this functionality to the API suite this year.
This would be a good addition to the Conversations API, so a bot can steer the conversation to the last person or the person referenced in the message flow.
If/when we add something like this to the APIs, we will let you know.
