Trying to get tickets per Customer aggregate metric over a multi-month Timeline

    It looks like you are very close, but will need to include the year along with the month in your attribute. So, the number of months becomes:

    If you are filtering by month created on your dashboard, you will need to set your filter to be a month range as opposed to a quarter range.

    ... otherwise the month count will always be a multiple of 3 which is propbably not what you want.

    Hey Graeme, 

      Thanks for the quick reply!  I am actually using a Timeline filter that defaults to current quarter.  Can you  think of how I might alter it to work in that env?  So for Q4 I would expect numMonths to be 3, but if I change the timeline to just October, I would expect numMonths to be 1.  When I use Month/Year in the metric definition I'm not getting 193 now as the fixed value ;-)

    Brilliant!!  That works like a charm.  Thanks so much for the help.  Here is how it nicely renders with all that backend logic.

    Timeline set to Q4 (which would be October to date since that is the only month in range with ticket data)

    Timeline set from Sept to today which is more total tickets but also spans two months

     Now to figure out #of organizations at the time!
