When writing articles, we also use the source code to add extra design and layout.
As the source code is a simple text, i.e. not like in Notepad++ with the colors, we tend to jump lines to make the code more visible.
Unfortunately, after clicking OK to save the code, Guide automatically reformats the whole code, creating huge blocks, reducing the readability.
Because of that, we have to work outside Guide, i.e. writing the code in a text editor, then paste the code in Guide. However, doing so prevents us from applying the classes and styles provided in Guide (heading, colors, etc.), we have to do it manually. This workaround therefore slows down our work and makes all the features offered in Guide articles useless.
We think jumping lines doesn't impact the code, so we would like to request a fix in the source code to avoid reformatting. A fix that leaves the code as it is.
All thoughts are welcome, thanks!
