Separate User fields per Users, ie Conditional possible?
AnsweredHi guys, here's my use case. I have both internal users, and external users. They both have their own Userfields they need. So it's not redundant, or too many fields, is there a way to separate those in Zendesk somehow? Or are all user fields global only?

Hey Philip,
User fields are account wide so there wouldn't be a way to only have these fields show up for specific users unfortunately. I'm not aware of a 3rd party integrations that would hide these user fields but maybe you'll have better luck in our App Marketplace.

Hi Brett, do you know if the upcoming Conditional Ticket Fields, that replaces the Conditional Tickets App, would perhaps be able to hide these fields? Basically if I could control the view of these fields using Groups or something similar it would solve my problem. Otherwise our users become a bit messy, because I have two sets of disparate user data I need to control.

I reached out to our team who manages the Conditional Fields beta and it loos like this will only affect ticket fields and not user/org fields.

Thanks Brett, see if they could add it to their suggestion forum, I think this would be a pretty significant feature. Also I signed up for the beta, but hasn't been rolled out yet? Is it coming soon?

As for the beta, it hasn't fully rolled out yet and unfortunately I don't have an ETA of when this will be released.

Any update here? I agree with Phillip as well. This can be a highly critical feature if ZenDesk is the place where a business organization keeps all customer info.
