As commented here, I'm trying to confirm what criteria I must take into account in Google Analytics ("GA") to obtain the same or approximate value that Zendesk Insights ("ZD") shows me regarding article views, and the Help Center in general.
Can someone confirm? How does Zendesk obtain this in GA for their own metrics?
- We can only compare ZD vs GA if the former's Help Center dashboard is filtered to "Help Center" (since there's no GA for the widget, AFAIK)
- On GA, we want pageviews not unique pageviews
- Filter GA to only include URLs containin /articles/. Since ZD seems to count article-based hits, we need to add ga:pagePath=~(articles) as a filter on report configuration in any Google Sheets using the GA add-on:
With these criteria configured on GA, we get a very low var.% between ZD and GA, but only in 4 out of 8 brands:
It could be there's something configured differently on those GA accounts.
Does anyone use different/additional criteria to that above? Any hints?
Many thanks in advance.
