    Not exactly the same request, but I am also interested in the functionality of having help texts associated to each form question. Typically presented to the user as a "?" mark next to the actual question, which they can hover their mouse over to read more.

    The detailed description you offer now, is too clumpsy and makes the overall form look verbose.

     

    This functionality could also potentially solve Aswins problem.

    Without getting into any actual code, a solution like that would be similar in concept to the solution linked above (relinked)

    You would need to create an element that would be your Question mark.  This could be a symbol or an image and you'd need to position it within the form where you want it to be.  Most of the form code is dynamic, so you'd likely be using Javascript to place these elements after each field item.  Then you'd add additional lines to that javascript that would present the data you want to display on a hover, click or tap action to display your helper text.  The overall concept is the same, it's just a different stylistic approach to how you want to present your form. Both options would require some custom coding to accomplish in Zendesk today. 

    While this isn't a direct example of how to accomplish what you are looking for, it's a good recent example of how you can modify a form in Zendesk to remove/add content within a form using javascript. 

    However, despite this being possible with code. I completely agree that it would be great to have built in options from Zendesk to add tooltips and notes like this.
