Ability to view Requester & Submitter emails

    Hi Explore team.

     

    Any thoughts on this? I just hit an issue where my product team needed email data from customers who contacted us about certain issue and I was unable to get it through GoodData, or Explore. 

     

    It would be awesome to include this in the Explore dataset.

    Thank you for your feedback, which makes perfect sense.

    We'll extend the user schema to add the requester/submitter email address. I will get back to you as soon I have an ETA for these additions.

    Apologies for the delayed reply.

    We have introduced email attributes (Requester Email, Submitter Email, Assignee Email) in the "Support: Tickets, Users, Organizations" dataset. See screenshot below.

    I can't seem to find the requester's email from attributes. Am I looking at the wrong screen?

    Hey Albert,

     

    You're actually looking at Insights, which is Zendesk's older reporting platform, provided by their partner GoodData.

    This platform doesn't receive requester email data (unfortunately!).

     

    You should be able to view this data if you have access to Zendesk Explore, in your zendesk app tray:

    This was a big pain point for me with Insights in my last role. Glad to see that it is available in Explore!
