Notification when chat window is closed

    Hi there Megatrax,

    Can you elaborate how having this notification will help with you and your agent workflows? Do you get a lot of chats in a day or handle multiple chats at once?

    Sure:  Agent is helping customer find certain music in the search.  Customer finds it, closes chat window (with the X button in upper-right), and goes to lunch or somewhere else.  The agent doesn't know customer has left.  The agent might be asking, "Are you still there?"  This will re-open the chat.

    But if the agent knows customer closed the chat window, then he can close his chat window and it's over and done.

    The type of notification I'm thinking of is the same type that appears when the customer navigates to another page.  A notification like that, once the customer has closed the chat window, would be very useful.

    Thanks for the additional information. Although we do not show a browser notification when they leave, you can tell by looking at the chat tabs at the bottom of the Chat dashboard:

    After Visitor (Ramin) leaves the site:



    From this, the agent will know that they can safely close the chat. Are you and your agents aware of this?
