I was told on live chat support, to submit my issue here.
So, we would need an option to make the chat widget appear online based on operating hours of the visitor's department and not the status of the agents in the department.
We automatically route visitors to the correct department based on country and the widget should always appear offline when the department of the visitor's country is out of its operating hours.
But, as we have agents with multiple departments (one agent in two or more departments) and the operating hours of these departments can be different, it many times happens, that the widget appears online for a closed department, because one of the agents is online, due to the operating hours of one of the other departments.
